![]() ![]() Once you've unlocked all of the villain's perks in the Altar of Hope and filled up her skill list in the Temple of Heroes, she can focus on pure raw damage or max out her Bloodlust bonus. Adrenaline Rush is the best way to clear Winded Tokens in most cases, but Bloodlust will also remove it if you haven't unlocked it or are running a Berserker build. Each Winded token reduces Hellion's damage by a third if you don't have time to clear it, she can still manage with one token, but with two or more, she becomes ineffective. Winded is a negative sign that can only be applied to Hellion as a price for using her more powerful skills. Howling End is a great finisher if the enemy survives, push back to the front with Toe To Toe or Breakthrough, then pop the Adrenaline Rush to clear Hellion's Winded markers and get a heal! Winded With power tokens, she can easily hit smaller enemies with one hit in these positions. Wicked Hack and Iron Swan give Hellion unique coverage for melee characters, allowing her to do good damage to anything but tier 3 enemies. With the right team support and skilled skill rotation, Hellion is one of the best damage dealers in the game. However, many of her best abilities will leave her breathless and weaken her until she has a chance to recover. She's good at carving a bloody path through her enemies, and can take blows too. It was completly superior to Highwayman's Grape Shot.Hellion is a frontline melee character in Darkest Dungeon 2. In fact, I found it better to go around in darkness to increase the chance of insta killing the enemy team. If none of them crit, well it does enough damage that by the time your third hellion hits the enemies are dead anyway haha. ![]() If even one of them crit, you could easy end an encounter just like that. You could have like 3 Hellions all spam that move, and each of them has a high chance to crit. I have to admit some kind of nerf was nessesary though. Instead of a go-to aoe move it's more of a clean up or support move you use to finish the enemy with. I find it hard to believe a level 4 group would all die in one round before getitng a chance to retreat haha.Īs for the buff, it changes the nature of Breakthrough entierly. :( lol? Did you have something like a 3x Hellion 1 healer group? You know you could always have retreated from battle once your guys started dieing. not realized the nerf and stacking the debuff caused my level 4 group to wipe. ![]()
